Anna Dello Russo is editor-in-chief of Vogue Nippon, she spent 18 years at Conde Naste Italia started as editor at Vogue Italia and serving as the editor of L'Uomo Vogue from 2000-2006. Helmut Newton once referred to her as a “fashion maniac”.

In 1996 she got married but it did't last. Her addiction was responsible for the brevity of her six month marriage to an assistant photographer.
‘He said to me: “Where is the space for me?”
I said: “There is no space for you.”
He says: “Where is the space in the closet?”
“There is no space in the closet!”
He says: “Are you crazy?” Then he left.'
